We welcome camping visitors throughout the season (from March to October) to join our members – who also camp or have holiday homes on one of our permanent pitches around the site.
Our camping pitches
We have 25 camping pitches (most with electric hookup) for tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans. All our pitches are grassed and within a woodland setting. We do not allow cars to be parked on our camping fields – please remove to the car park after you have set up (exception for disabled drivers).
We have a couple of pitches that are on more even ground and accessible to the facilities eg accessible shower/toilet. We advise that you check that these accessible pitches are available and that they are suitable for you before you book. Contact us on 07936 359140 or email info@broadlandsun.co.uk
It is important that you give us all the details of your unit when you book – including its size and (where applicable) the type of awning you would like to use – so that we can ensure we have a pitch suitable for you.
We are Pet-friendly
At Broadlands we welcome well-behaved dogs (and other pets) but we ask that you keep them under control at all times and make sure you clear up after them immediately and dispose of appropriately. We have a lovely woodland walk where you can walk with your pet. Please bear in mind that our club rules mean that pets are not permitted in any of the communal areas such as toilet blocks, clubhouse or near the honesty cafe or on the sunbathing green.

Important changes to the Booking Terms and Conditions for 2026
· Maximum length of stay
We do not have seasonal camping pitches or extended stays. You can book for a maximum stay of 16 days ie 15 nights in total.
Subject to availability, we allow campers to make 2 further consecutive bookings of the maximum length (ie a total of 3 consecutive maximum stays of 15 nights) – however after this, we require camper/ unit to leave for a minimum of 2 weeks before making any further camping visits.
· Rotation of pitches
To prevent pitch damage and to allow an individual pitch to be rested, campers staying more than 16 days in total will be required to move pitch after a maximum of 15 nights on a single pitch. All campers will therefore be required to move to another available pitch after the 15th night. The duty warden will advise you of when and where you should move.
· Unattended units
Campers may not leave their caravans, motor caravans, tents and awnings unoccupied on a camping pitch for more than a total of three nights within any 14-day period (this may be extended in cases of emergency). If campers are going to leave the unit unoccupied the following must be complied with:
o All equipment must be left in a secure and safe condition.
o Electricity supplies may be left, but gas supplies must be shut off.
o A key for any locked van must be left with a responsible person
o The duty warden must be advised of any proposed absence and the name of the responsible person holding the key.
o The normal fee for using the pitch will be payable during any period of absence
· EV charging
We currently do not have EV charging points on site. We do not have suitable outlets for “granny cables” and we prohibit their use on site.
There are however public chargers locally within 1-2 miles of our campsite.
