Satnav directions may involve narrow lanes, bridges and tight bends, therefore suggested route avoiding these hazards, especially for large motorhomes and those towing caravans:
From the A47, Norwich Southern bypass, take the A146 away from Norwich towards Lowestoft, Beccles. Keep right after first set of traffic lights then turn right on to B1332 towards Bungay. After about 1.5 miles enter Poringland (30mph limit with speed cameras).
In a further 0.75 miles at the roundabout (with The Railway Tavern on your left), take third exit towards Stoke Holy Cross (Stoke Road)
Immediately as you drive towards Stoke look for two tall radio and television pylons. These are situated within a few hundred metres from Brickle Road, which is at Upper Stoke.
In 400yds continue straight over the mini-roundabout and in a further 900yds you will come to a crossroads with a telephone kiosk on the left corner. Turn left towards Shotesham All Saints.
After 200 yds on the left is the entrance to Broadlands (sp. 31 Brickle Road). The two large tv and radio towers are a good landmark to look for as they can be clearly seen to the south from the main A47 Norwich Southern Bypass.
