Aunty Wainwrights is our very own charity store where you can find a range of items for sale.
Set up many years ago Aunty Wainwrights origins come from some of our members selling books to raise money for charity. The hard work and dedication of the founders paid dividends and they quickly out grew their small book stand outside the club house. Move forward a few years and the club purchased a portacabin to house their many treasures and Aunty Wainwrights as we know it today was born. Each year at our AGM the members vote for two charities to support. Items in the store are not priced, the money we raise is based on generous donates of both items and monies for items purchased with all donations going to our chosen charities. In 2026 the charities chosen are: Little Lifts – a charity on a mission to provide free Little Lifts gift Boxes to every breast cancer patient in the UK and Each – East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
