September 2019 – Catering Contract – Job Spec for Bistro Manager

The Role
The opportunity is for a Seasonal Bistro Manager for the 2020 open season from 1st March until 31st October 2020.
Key Responsibilities
The Bistro must be operational throughout the open season, times to be agreed in advance with the management team of Broadland Sun Association
* Preparation of food for 30 seater bistro, with additional outside seating weather permitting
* Kitchen hygiene, maintaining high standards continuously throughout the open season
* Maintaining public liability insurance for the Bistro
* Managing any additional staffing required and payment to individuals
The person, Skills, Qualifications and Behaviours
* Minimum Level 2 food hygiene certificate is essential
* Customer focused approach with a passion for delivering quality food, at a reasonable cost to the members and holiday makers
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Ability to build and maintain good relationships with the Broadland Sun Association Limited management team, and with the customers.

September 2019 – Seasonal Warden

The Role
The opportunity is for a Seasonal Warden for the 2020 open season from 1st March until 31st October 2020
Key Responsibilities
➢ Office duties and manning of the reception desk
➢ Management of the holiday lettings bookings/administration
➢ Cleaning of the holiday lettings accommodation
➢ Cleaning of public areas
➢ Cleaning of shower blocks and accessible/disabled facility
➢ Maintenance of the swimming pool
➢ Cleaning of the swimming pool area and sun lounge adjoining the pool

The person, Skills, Qualifications and Behaviours
➢ Sound organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple priorities effectively
➢ The ability and willingness to take personal responsibility and accountability for quality of work
➢ Customer focused approach with a passion for delivering quality and building relationships
➢ Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with individuals at all
levels
➢ Ability to work well under pressure
➢ Ability to handle sensitive /confidential information appropriately
➢ Extremely high level of attention to detail is essential
➢ Prior experience as a warden is desirable

Accommodation
The role does require the successful applicant to reside on site during the contract. Accommodation is
negotiable.
